Privacy policy

This privacy policy explains the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data on our website www.plasticrecycler.ch (hereinafter referred to as the "website") by the Swiss Plastic Recyclers Association VSPR (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "us") and provides information about the rights to which you are entitled. These rights are governed by the applicable data protection laws.

3.1 - Log files
Our website is hosted by koller.team. In order to optimize and maintain our website, we log technical errors that may occur when you visit our website. Furthermore, when you use this website, information is automatically collected that your device's browser transmits to our host provider.
These are IP address and operating system of your end device, browser type, version, language, date and time of the server request, file accessed, the website from which the access was made (referrer URL), the status code (e.g. 404) and the transmission protocol used (e.g. HTTP/2).
This data is collected and stored by our host provider in order to optimize processes and procedures, in particular in connection with the use of our website and the security and stability of the computer system.

3.2 - Forms
If you use our forms, your details from the forms will be processed by us in order to process the inquiries and in the event of follow-up questions.
As a rule, we require the following information:

- Phone number
- E-mail address
- Message content
We use the data you provide to answer your request. Insofar as the GDPR is applicable, the basis for this data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
3.3 - Cookies
We use cookies on our website. Cookies are small files that are stored on your end device and saved by your browser. Some of the cookies we use are automatically deleted when you leave our website. We use your email exclusively for our own advertising purposes for sending newsletters, irrespective of contract processing, provided you have expressly consented to this. If you were registered before the GDPR, you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by using the corresponding link in the newsletter, or you can send us an e-mail under Imprint so that we can delete your e-mail address immediately.
To send the newsletter, we use the Mailchimp mailing service, to which we pass on your e-mail address for automated dispatch. We have concluded a corresponding order processing contract with this provider.
Objection to advertising e-mails
If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data if there are reasons for this arising from your particular situation or if the objection is directed against direct advertising. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which will be implemented by us without specifying a particular situation.
