Appenzell IR introduces plastic collection

VSPR recycles industrial plastics

Industry and trade

Industry, trade and construction often consume large quantities of plastics, which usually accumulate after use in large quantities, unmixed and partly uncontaminated (e.g. wrapping film from pallets). Such waste is generally suitable for recycling. However, this potential is only partially exploited. For example, only just under a quarter of PE films from industry, trade and construction are recycled.

Industry, trade and construction recycle plastics

Recycling potential

For this reason, industry, trade and construction are increasingly collecting and recycling plastics and reusing them as recyclates in the interests of ecology and economic considerations. This contributes to sustainability and reduces the CO2 footprint.

Less environmental impact

Another important reason is environmental protection. The collection of plastics helps to reduce environmental pollution. Plastic waste can be harmful to the environment, especially if it is not disposed of properly and ends up in ecosystems. By recycling plastics, companies can help to minimize these negative effects.

Companies that actively collect and recycle plastics can improve their public image and demonstrate their commitment to sustainability and environmental protection. This can have a positive impact on how they are perceived by customers and business partners.

Recycling technologies create advantages

Innovation potential

Finally, the recycling of plastics also offers innovation potential and a competitive advantage. Companies that use recycling technologies and develop innovative solutions for the reuse of plastics can position themselves better in the long term.

The VSPR brings together well-known and large companies from industry, trade and construction that are committed to sustainable and innovative ideas and projects in the field of recycling various plastic fractions and products.
