Quality assurance focuses on the continuous improvement of recycling systems, increasing the recycling rate, transparent and traceable material flows and the return of non-recyclable sorting waste generated abroad to Switzerland for thermal recycling.

Seal of quality

System operators whose compliance with the specified standards has been verified by an independent inspection body are awarded the VSPR label. This seal of approval allows consumers to dispose of their plastic waste with a clear conscience. The label ensures that complete documentation of collection and recycling is guaranteed.

Cooperation

For quality assurance, we work actively with the administration (federal offices and cantons) and are committed to creating a framework that enables plastics collection and recycling throughout Switzerland - while taking regional particularities into account.

Contact point for the public sector

We are the point of contact for special-purpose associations and cantons that want to organize and promote plastic collection in their regions. Among other things, we prepare regional monitoring reports for individual public sector organizations, which contain additional information on the management and monitoring of plastic collections (Canton of Solothurn and Canton of Zurich).
