The purpose of the association is to promote the Swiss circular economy, in particular through the recycling of plastics from households, trade, industry and agriculture. However, this also includes promoting products made from recycled plastics, strengthening Switzerland as a business location, for example by promoting new jobs, technologies and investments, and informing the public.

Who can become a member

  • Companies from the waste disposal and recycling industry, the thermal and chemical recycling of waste, plastics production and the plastics trade as well as the retail trade
  • Public communities such as associations, authorities, offices, cities and municipalities as well as other organizations that recognize and are willing to promote the aim and purpose of the association.
