Collections are made in 900 municipalities

Plastic consumption in Switzerland is constantly increasing. Around 80 percent of this plastic is still incinerated. In contrast, the collection and recycling of plastic from households has already been established in 23 cantons - it is making huge strides forward. As a pioneer, the Swiss Plastic Recyclers Association has been promoting and coordinating these activities for 10 years and is currently welcoming its 900th collection community.
